2. The longevity gap
   LFP and Sodium Ion batteries are not able to operate effectively for higher cycles of charge and discharge required in the modern home and grid. Steep degradation curves increases the risk of thermal runaway as well as requiring replacement of the battery far earlier than their marketing would like you to know.
   
   Read the small print of the warranty and you find that if your wifi does not work and you drop communications by more than 10%, your warranty will be invalidated and that does not feel the right approach.
3. The kWh con
   Nearly all systems don’t give you 100% of the charge available reserving 20% to protect the battery so what you pay for is not what you get. This worsens over time, whereas at Kight, we want you to have what you paid for.
